"Mexico is Opportunity 2011" Forum

Mexico's President, Felipe Calderon, recently lead the "Mexico is Opportunity 2011" forum, where he spoke to business executives, diplomats, as well as executives from the Mexican Ministries of Economy, Treasury and Labor, and Promexico, about the country's economic condition and federal government actions that make up for the attractive, safe and profitable destination that is Mexico.

At the breakfast event, President Calderon stated:

"Mexico is a strong, growing nation with a long term vision and full of opportunities. I enjoy what we have accomplished and for what we, Mexicans, have worked hard over the past years to make Mexico an attractive, safe, and profitable country for investing." He also added, "We know that in their expansion projects, global companies seek economies in growth with solid economic and structural fundamentals. And this is precisely the case of Mexico."

Investment opportunities keep arising every day in Mexico. In fact, it is no surprise that Japanese investors are considering the Mexican market as their next investment target market, as reported by a recent Wall Street Journal story.
