Popular US Restaurants Expand Business to Mexico

Darden Restaurants Inc., based in the US and the parent company of Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and LongHorn Steakhouse brands, has been negotiating a deal with CMR, a Mexican casual dining company, to expand its restaurant portfolio to Mexico. Once an agreement between the two companies is finalized - CMR will launch 37 restaurants in Mexico over the next ten years.
