Mexico Makes Lonely Planet's 2012 "Best in Travel Readers’ Choice Award"
Every year, Lonely Planet picks the best in travel for the coming year. For the first time, readers had a hand in picking the winner and after many nominations for cities and countries, readers casted over 3000 votes for the finalists. For Lonely Planet's 2012 Readers' Choice for the top 10 countries, Mexico made the list!
