Lonely Planet Readers Choose Mexico and Puebla as 2012 Travel Destinations

Each year Lonely Planet seeks readers’ opinions to crown 2012’s hottest destinations. After 3,000 votes for the finalists, the results of Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel Readers’ Choice Awards are in. Of only two categories in the Readers’ Choice Awards, Mexico won a spot in each. Mexico was voted as one the top 10 countries to visit, while Puebla, Mexico was awarded a spot in the top 10 cities to visit category.
