Canadian Visitors Find Mexico to be Safe and Enjoyable

A Canadian National reporter says "Calm down, Mexico is safer than you think!" In a recent Calgary Herald article, Canadian travelers and expats contributed by discussing their personal stories and experiences in Mexico.

Canadian national columnist for Postmedia News Stephen Maher shared his safety insights and how much he enjoyed his time in Playa del Carmen located south of Cancun on the coast of the Caribbean Sea. In an article he wrote for Canada.com, Maher shared how different and enjoyable Mexico is once you get to visit and put safety in Mexico into perspective.

"Mexico is not a place. It is a bunch of places, and some of them are safer than places in Canada."

Spanish Company Awarded Contract to Build Aquaduct in Mexico

Abengoa, which owns companies in energy, telecommunications, transportation, and the environment, has been awarded a contract to "build a 139-kilometer (86-mile) aqueduct to transport potable water to 2.4 million inhabitants of two states in central and western Mexico."
