Ramadan Starts Today: How the Holiday Can Affect Your Business Travel

It's always important to know the customs and holidays of the countries you are visiting and how it'll affect your business travels.

Gadling reminds travelers that today begins the Islamic holiday of Ramadan. Ramadan lasts 29 to 30 days and is the Islamic month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. Travelers should exercise extra patience and flexibility in areas where Ramadan is celebrated.
