  • For less than 30 day visits one must have: a valid passport, birth certificate or a citizenship card plus a recent picture of identification
  • Letter from the company stating the specific purpose of the business trip
  • For stays longer than 30 days one must apply for a multiple entries visa from the Consulate General of Mexico.

How Southwest Flies to Mexico

Currently, Southwest partners with Volaris (one of the main airlines in Mexico) to provide flights between the US and Mexico by connecting 58 Southwest cities to 6 different Volaris cities in Mexico. Southwest will launch more routes at a later date.

If you're a Southwest loyalist, it's worth it to check out what they have available for your business travels. Keep in mind that flights to certain Mexican cities don't operate daily, so check out the Southwest's Volaris section for more details.
