Mexican Bar Makes List of "Best Cocktail Bars In The World"

Looking for a perfect cocktail on your business travels? Drinks International, the only magazine devoted to global spirits, has compiled their list of the top 50 cocktail bars in the world. There's one bar in Mexico that has made the list - La Capilla in Tequilla, Mexico. The bar is known as the "oldest bar in the Mexican town that gave its name to the famously fiery spirit."

Drinks that the bar is known for include the following cocktails (along with a wide array of tequila):

  • Batanga, a cocktail made with tequila, fresh lime juice and Coke and served tall in a salt rimed glass.
  • Paloma, tequila and a very popular Mexican grapefruit soda called “Squirt”, again served tall in a salt rimed class.
