Back in March, Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, had made it known that the company planned to invest $1.3 billion dollars. This investment included purchasing 20 new aircrafts and investing in "technological advances aimed at improving customer service, as well as new facilities to optimize the operations of the company at Mexico City’s International Airport." Currently, Mexico is amplifying the effect of those investments as it partners with other countries to bring more direct international flights to Mexico (China, Spain, Russia, to name a few).
