Mexico Becoming Popular Destination for International Conventions

In 2010, Mexico saw a 31% increase in meetings - leading Mexico to become the world's 22nd most popular vacation destination country for international conventions. In 2009, Mexico's ranking was 27th. Mexico City held the majority of Mexico's 140 international conventions. Mexico City took 15th place on the international list of top host convention cities and 5th in the Americas. Mexico’s tourism investment is paying off.

Sidewalk Cafes May Be Coming to Downtown Mexico City

The Mexico City Council is holding a meeting on July 11 to discuss amending existing ordinances to allow the downtown area to have sidewalk cafes. I've always been a huge fan of outdoor cafes, it's a good way to enjoy the scenery and people watch in a new area. Stay tuned business travelers to Mexico City!
